Sue Green Baker: 3-Day Serger Schools

Beginner: February 13-15, 9am-5pm
Advanced: February 17-19, 9am-5pm

Join us for 3 fun filled days … Explore Baby Lock Sergers’ Accolade, Triumph, Ovation or Evolution serger in and out. You will learn how to use a serger from the “basics to advanced” techniques. Baby Lock sergers thread themselves, have no tension dials to figure out and are the easiest sergers on the market to change to different stitches! If you are thinking about buying a serger, you will say, “How did I ever get along without one!”

A Baby Lock Accolade or Triumph can be furnished for your use in class if you do not own one.

Tuition includes CD of the 3 workbooks, 3 fabric kit, and lunch for 3 days.

Mary Mulari’s Creative Sewing Seminar

April 25, 10am-4pm

Mary Mulari has developed a national reputation for her unique, stylish, easy-to-sew accessories, clothing embellishments, as well as her sense of humor. If you recognize her name, it may be because she has appeared as a guest on over 50 programs of Sewing With Nancy and written 28 creative sewing books. She has designed “automatic applique” embroidery cards and publishes her own line of patterns. Her ideas and projects appeal to sewing enthusiasts and quilters of all ability levels. Mary works in her home office and sewing parlor in Aurora, Minnesota.

Mary’s Variety Show lecture/demo includes something for every “seamstress ” — applique, machine embroidery, totes, sew-green makeovers, T-shirt projects, travel gear, aprons, wraps, gifts, and sweat-shirt makeovers!

Sashiko stitching is featured along with specialty serging and sewing machine details.
